IV. Positive Self-Talk (5 Minutes)

- Guide the patient in creating personalized affirmations that promote self-worth and acknowledge their strengths. Examples might include:
- "I am capable and worthy."
- "I have strengths that contribute positively to my life."
- "I am constantly growing and improving."
V. Coping Strategies (5 Minutes)
Coping Techniques for Stress Management
- Introduce quick coping strategies that the patient can practice when feeling overwhelmed:
- Breathing exercises: Encourage the patient to take deep breaths when feeling stressed.
- Visualization: Ask them to visualize a peaceful place or a positive experience.
- Grounding techniques: Discuss the 5-4-3-2-1 technique (identifying 5 things they can see, 4 they can touch, etc.).
VI. Closing (5 Minutes)

- Highlight the importance of challenging negative thoughts and using positive self-talk.
