3. Cognitive Restructuring (10 minutes)
- Challenge Negative Thoughts: Introduce the concept of cognitive distortions, particularly focusing on the thought "People will always reject me."

- What evidence supports this belief?
- What evidence contradicts it?
- Is there a more helpful way to think about this?
4. Introducing Coping Techniques (10 minutes)
- Exploration of Hobbies: Discuss hobbies that the patient enjoys or could take up.
- Purpose: Explain how engaging in hobbies can serve as a distraction and a means to develop a sense of accomplishment and joy.
- Homework Assignment: Encourage the patient to integrate at least one hobby into their weekly routine to aid in mood elevation.

- Behavioral Activation: Revisit the previous assignments and ensure the patient is continuing them.
- Explore: What new activities did they try? How did they feel?
- Setting Boundaries: Discuss the importance of setting boundaries in relationships to reduce feelings of being overwhelmed.
- Role-Playing: If appropriate, role-play a scenario where the patient practices saying "no" or expressing their needs.
