Paste a text for analysisHow you been doing ohh I think I've been processing things a little better like the way I process things it's better it's positive I try to focus on mostly the positive I try to redirect my thoughts and I started go back to practicing morning affirmations or you know affirmation anytime I feel like ohh you know I'm overwhelmed I'm overthinking you know I remind myself a little bit of who I am so I started that OK OK so you you're a little bit bad or you you you you have improved some yes so OK OK and so did you complete the homework yes I did OK so it's the first thing with mindfulness practice did you practice that that mindfulness yes it did um when I remember like when I become self-conscious you know I like when I remember I'm doing something or whatever and I remember I was like ohh I got to do that yeah but it wasn't a lot maybe one day or so but it wasn't a lot but I'm aware now that's the point yes that's the key awareness yeah so now I'm gonna be like enforcing it like you know forcing myself to do it to the point where it becomes a part of who I am so I don't have to even force myself you know it just I just automatically do it yes yes and once you get into the habit you're going to I automatically do it now I practice mindfulness ever because it calms you down it keeps you calm and your day started off calm and once you get into it you're going to become unbothered by a lot of things because I am unbothered by so many I don't know because I'm older or what but I practice mindfulness it helps so did you how did you feel when you were practicing it it kind of like opening up you yourself to who you are at this moment and it it it's kind of putting me back like in school basically for me it brings me back to that place where I have to like do these things to reach to the next level because I have an end goal in mind and it will automatically made me a better person to just focus on me and what's important to me mm-hmm exactly just like when we were in school we had an end goal to right away and like you said your end goal is to be a better person it's going to make you a better person you just they're going to come around OK you're just going to be so unbothered and So what about journaling your emotional awareness so like the only thing triggering you when you can't a lot OK let's talk about it and I want to know how you trigger OK a lot of my triggers comes from calling me out of my name being loud and disrespectful towards me I don't know those are my main triggers I I don't know why but I hate that like I'm bothered by um and something that's another bothers me is like when someone or you know it's being dismissive towards me those things bothers me I don't know why it gives me the so did you experience any of that did you write it down did you have any of that from yes I did I write it down no but I identified that it was it was one of my family members I was saying something to them and they literally ignored me and I repeated myself they just ignored me and walked up but I'm right OK sometimes people it depends on what you were saying because a lot of times people don't want to hear the truth or were you like disagreeing what was it when you and they ignored you what was it it's like I was asking a question about one of my nephews like I was like having our actual conversation about one of my nephews and then I asked the person I was like you know did you see Carter or my nephew did this or that and they just blatantly ignored me like they walked off umm and I repeated myself and then they walked off again and I was like OK yeah but when I went back and I processed processed it what I've identified is guess what I did the same thing to them but moments ago you always say ohh I'd say OK OK now it's making sense right OK ohh OK so now how would you handle that the next time if you do that to someone else I respond to them or if I'm not in the mood or whatever to respond I'll just let them know that at this moment yeah yeah yeah so instead of ignoring or dismissing them yes OK and you said um calling you out of your names how often do you experience that you said that's one of your triggers with someone calling you out your name I'm listening the culture that I come from that's normal like they were saying yeah or you ignorant or you slow or you not not those names personal right right I'm just giving you an overview of how the culture you know correspond or how the culture you know go about you know talking to each other is like that's normal for the culture but no I don't want that to be a part of my normal umm and when they this is what you have to keep in mind like you already said that's part of the culture that's how they are you can't expect nothing differently from them OK you have to keep in mind what you're in control of you're controlling you're in control of your thoughts your behaviors you know your feelings or whatever you can't control them and you just have to get your expectatio

The focus shifts toward self-regulation and the power of setting healthy boundaries for interpersonal dynamics.
