What are Emotions?
Emotions are feelings that help us understand our experiences. They can be happy, sad, angry, scared, or excited. It's normal for everyone, including kids, to feel different emotions at different times.

How to Understand Your Emotions
Thought Record
Completing a thought record can help you understand your emotions better. Here's how to do it:
- Situation: Write down what happened.
- Thoughts: Write down what you thought during the situation.
- Feelings: Identify how you felt, and rate the intensity (0-100%).
- Responses: How did you respond?
- Reflection: What would you do differently next time?

- Situation: I lost my toy at school.
- Thoughts: "I will never find it again."
- Feelings: Sad (80%).
- Responses: I cried and told my teacher.
- Reflection: I could have asked friends to help search for it.
